Buses are used by poor people and students, they are not a very good place to meet people, but a good place for mothers to take their children and smack them. Bus drivers are a curious lot, they seem to have the aim in life to make people fall over in their buses when they can see them getting up in readiness for their stop.
Every now and then a ticket inspector will get onto the bus, this starts a frantic search for tickets that have been thrown on the floor, or given to a small child to tear into little pieces.
Considering that the fares are always so high, it is surprising that buses are always late, dirty, smelly, slow, jerky, noisy contraptions.
They have the only redeeming factor, in that they do not rust?
They are made from materials that do not rust at all in any weathers?
Considering the price that cars cost, you would think that they would be made of the same, non-rusting materials.
